Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship

Fowler Simmons Radiology is a busy subspecialised MSK practice that has been in operation since September 2012. We are the only MSK subspecialised practice in South Australia.

We appoint two Fellows each year, with staggered commencement dates in February and September. Applicants must have the RANZCR Fellowship or equivalent.

The Fellowship encompasses the entire suite of musculoskeletal intervention using a variety of injectables (cortisone, hyaluronic acid and PRP). We also perform spinal and peripheral radiofrequency denervation.

As a small independent practice with longstanding relationships in orthopaedic, sports medicine and occupational medicine communities, we aim to further advance MSK medicine in Adelaide through engagement in both teaching and research, to which the Fellow will be encouraged to contribute.

The Fellowship position is full-time, 5 days/week, 8am-5pm, with 5 weeks annual leave.

The Fellow is expected to present at least once during their term at a national or international conference, and participate in in-house and local meetings and educational events. Research opportunities are also available. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Previous attendance at musculoskeletal imaging, orthopaedic and sports medicine conferences is looked upon favourably with applications, as is research, teaching and presentations.
